In this post, I would like to share with you a short list of what the traits are of successful people.
This list is based on my own reflection and observation of my own success and the success of other millionaires
1. They have an abundance mindset
They are not solely focused on money making but to them it is taken for granted that they will become successful.
In their minds, success is not a possibility, or a potential. To them it is an inevitability.
You can apply this mindset to your financial goals too: Imagine that you have already earned your financial target (millionaire) rather than “trying” to become a millionaire.
You need to be firm and truly believe that you will achieve the goal before you even achieved it in reality.
2. Believe in yourself
Have a strong belief in yourself and have faith that you possess the the capability, the skills and the knowledge to succeed in any endeavor.
Even if you don’t have those skills yet, be confident that you will be able to develop them
3. Strong willingness to learn and educate oneself.
This includes the knowledge gained from reading books, attending seminars, listening to podcasts, audio training and personal observation of life and people you’ve encountered.
4. Have a strong decisive ability and tend to focus on taking action:
Their motto is “Get the information and take action” !
They take action FIRST and then if their action is wrong, they make sure that they learn from it and correct their mistakes along the way.
Courage, in this context, means that they are not bogged down with too many fears and worries.
Many people make the mistake of starting to worry about the following when faced with the unknown: ” I don’t possess the skills/knowledge/talent/circumstances/destiny to do this” .etc…I’ m not smart enough, experienced enough, old enough …
The HOW is not as important as the WHY.
Don’t have fear of the HOW.
There is a saying (cannot find the original author) that says:
” if you know the WHY, the HOW will take of itself”.
6. Go the extra mile –
Always do more than what is expected of you.
A little bit of extra effort will make a big difference when tallied up over time.
